Interesting facts about Bali island

Here a brief information for everyone who wants to spend their vacation in Bali. There are so many travel agencies offering tour packages or holiday packages from US, UK, Canada or Europe countries. Just pick your most favorite travel agency, and ask them about the fascinating island of Bali.

To reach Bali, most of tourist used airplane rather than cruise ships. Bali has an  international airport connecting flights from various countries. Bali sea port is going to develop, enabling cruise passengers to directly arrive at the Island.

I'll give you some clues about Bali:


  • Lies between Jave in the west and Lombok in the east, Bali is the home to many Indonesia’s small Hindu minority. It is among the largest tourists destinations of the country. It is known for highly developed arts like music, dance, metalworking, painting, sculpture and leather
  • The island contains several mountain peaks.To the south of the mountains they have their largest rice growing area; to the north they have their main coffee production area. Ayung River is the longest river in the region. Coral reefs surround the island. The beaches in the north have black sand while those in the south have white sand. Those who plan to visit the place should book their tickets in advance in advance so as to avail cheap tickets to Bali. 
  • The regions culture is influenced by the Indian and Chinese. It economy is mostly based on the agriculture sector for both output and employment. In recent time tourism has also flourished making it Indonesia’s wealthiest regions. It has suffered significantly after terrorist bombings in 2002 and 2005. But it is slowly recovering once again. Those taking Bali flights won’t be disappointed as the island is famous for its artisans. They offer a variety of handicrafts, batik and ikat cloth, stone carving, silver ware, wooden carvings, painted art and many more. Balinese and Indonesian are the widely spoken languages in the island. English is their third language. 
  • Some of the tourist locations in the town are Kuta for its beach, suburbs like Legian and Seminyak, the coast town of Sanur, Nusa Dua and Pecatu.
